If you’ve watched a few minutes of the news or flicked through a newspaper in the past couple of days, you will have no doubt seen and heard a lot about the South African entrepreneur, Elon Musk. That’s because he has recently launched a Falcon Heavy rocket along with its very own starman into space.

This latest venture into space is being led by one of Musk’s hugely successful companies. Ever since the tender age of 27, this world-famous entrepreneur has been making millions of dollars with numerous companies over and over again. One thing for sure, he certainly is a go-getter, and has all the success and wealth to show for it!
Think you’ve got what it takes to be the next Elon Musk? If so, you will need to have these same characteristics that the entrepreneur has.
Ge Ready To Work
Elon Musk is one helluva hard worker. But that’s not a quality that is special only to him – in fact, every single entrepreneur out there knows a thing or two about working hard. Musk has been known to put in 80 to 100 hour weeks when he has been in the very early stages of setting up a company. But don’t worry, though – you won’t have to put in that much work; 80 hours a week is an exceptionally high amount! But forget about the usual nine-to-five office hours – you might need to burn the midnight oil so you can guarantee success comes to your business!
Buck The Trend
If you want to be a successful entrepreneur, you can’t simply do what anyone else is doing. Otherwise, you might find that you have too much strong competition to make a go of your company. Elon Musk knew exactly about bucking the trend, and all of his companies have been entirely innovative and unique. For example, when he co-founded the company that would eventually become PayPal, it was the only company out there that specialized in transferring money via emails.
Be A Showoff
Do you consider yourself a show off? You need to be so that you can get word out there about all your ventures! Ideally, you want to get invited to all the big conferences, such as Think Tank Media so that you can take to the stage and talk about your company and projects with like-minded people. You never know, you might give a conference speech to Elon Musk himself one day!
Always Look For Constructive Criticism
You won’t be able to develop and grow without constructive criticism. That’s because you won’t have a good enough idea of your flaws and weaknesses. So, always try and get feedback and do your best to use it to improve yourself. But you should always be open to hearing all the best things about your work as well, as this can help you stay highly motivated and productive!
One day, you might be the next Elon Musk and the world could be watching your starman setting off into space!
