Today marks the official launch of my first summer project- Virginia Hiker. I spent most of yesterday working on the template and customizing it to my needs and also starting to get the content together for it.
I am very happy with the result and excited to see how well the website does. I think it is going to be a great resource for people and am really looking forward to watching it grow.
Please check the site out and give me your comments on it – content, design, colors, etc. Thanks for the all the support that everyone gave me on my last update on the project, it really helped me focus my efforts on this and get it finished up!
Dennis, thanks for the comment. I actually havent ever considered the idea. What kind of projects do you use them for? I dont have much experience in them and wouldnt even know were to start. Thanks again.
congrats on getting the site up!!!
did you ever think about using a wiki? all my projects are wiki-based… I havent written about it yet though.
I have not tried working them into my site yet, although I am signed up with them through Commision Junction. For some reason it tells me I have an account but I dont know what it is so I still need to contact them to get my login information so that I can start trying it out. But yes, it is something I am planning on doing. Thanks for the link, Ill check it out.
check out http://www.wikitravel.com . I’ll post about my wiki project this week.
I see you have links to business for hiking gear. DId you try affiliate programs with these companies…??
